Eighty-one years of service to our community...all honor and praise to our Founding Fathers and to those who have been a part of this Club since our Charter was granted on October, 30, 1928. Throughout the years our Club has sponsored many activities. Among them are: contributions to the West Grove and Avondale Fire Companies, reconstructing a home when it was seriously damaged by flood, contributing to the worldwide effort to eradicate polio, recognizing outstanding juniors in high school and providing dictionaries to third grade students. We support our troops abroad and our library at home.
Eight-one years...Eighty-one presidents. We can be proud of their contributions to the community, the nation and to international relations as we strive to maintain their heritage, principles and tradition . The world is a little better off because of their efforts, the efforts of our Club officers and most importantly the ongoing efforts of our Club members who are proud of one other and cherish the fellowship that is born from meeting, working and celebrating together. We invite other professionals and leaders in our community to explore the possibilities and opportunities that are Rotary. Please be our guest for breakfast any Thursday at 6:50 a.m. at Jenner’s Pond in the Allison Community Center.
Yours in Rotary,
